My Story
Alfie first got into BMX after receiving his bike and spending time at his local skatepark, where his passion for freestyle riding quickly developed. Since then, he has combined school, strength and conditioning training, and weekend BMX sessions to keep progressing in the sport he loves.
His immediate goals are to stay injury-free and compete across all rounds of the 2025 Backyard Jam Freestyle BMX National Series, while also representing British Cycling at overseas competitions. Looking ahead, Alfred aims to move through the Olympic Development Pathway, with his sights firmly set on representing Great Britain at the Olympics.
For Alfie, BMX is all about having fun, pushing himself to progress, and enjoying the sense of accomplishment that comes from competing and improving. Inspired by the support of his dad, he is motivated to keep riding, keep learning, and get on as many podiums as possible.
