My Story

Jason first discovered boccia at secondary school in Cambridge, where a local club introduced him to the sport. His passion grew quickly, leading him to compete at county and regional level and begin developing his skills under the guidance of his coach.

Training around eight hours a week alongside regular conditioning, Jason is committed to refining his technique, building resilience, and developing strong strategies for competition. Over the next 12 months, his goals include increasing training with his coach, competing in more high-level tournaments, and working with sport psychologists to strengthen his game. Away from the court, Jason enjoys spending time with family, playing chess, reading about psychology, space, and inspiring life stories, as well as studying basketball. Jason is also learning to drive and contributes his time to sports charities and his local library.
