We’re delighted to welcome Mark Lawrenson as our guest speaker – former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland defender, long-time Match of the Day pundit, and English Football Hall of Fame inductee.
Mark was a key part of Liverpool’s golden era in the 1980s, winning league titles, domestic cups and the European Cup. After hanging up his boots, he moved into broadcasting – becoming a BBC mainstay for over 30 years and covering six World Cups.
With sharp humour, deep insight, and countless stories from the pitch and the studio, Mark brings a unique and entertaining perspective on life in professional football – past and present.
All proceeds from the event go towards supporting the next generation of sporting talent across the region through SportsAid Eastern.
