Bucks SportsAid

Bucks SportsAid was created in 2011 ahead of London 2012 to provide a sporting legacy. From humble beginnings, the club attracts over 130 guests and meets twice a year at the prestigious Dorney Lake venue, home to the “Dorney Roar”.

Mark Blundell Formula 1

We are thrilled to confirm Mark Blundell as our next speaker.

Mark is a British racing driver who competed in F1 and Indy Car before winning the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1992. Mark drove for McLaren in 1995 alongside Mika Hakkinen after replacing Nigel Mansell who couldn’t fit in the car!

As Mark’s racing career was winding down, he joined ITV as an analyst for the 2002 F1 season and was a regular until coverage moved to the BBC in 2008.

We are also delighted to confirm that on Friday 11 October, Greg Searle MBE returns to Dorney Lake where at the ripe age of 40, he won an Olympic rowing bronze during London 2012.

To get a flavour of what we do and what to expect, please take a look at our last event with the highly entertaining Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock.

Bucks SportsAid Sponsors

All the businesses and individuals who sponsor our charity have one thing in common: a desire to help talented young athletes who may otherwise miss out on training and competition to grasp every opportunity available to them and fulfil their potential.

We’re extremely grateful for their generous support and look forward to continuing our collaboration for many years to come. Why not join them?
